Gr. 6 - Take a look at Tim and Moby's Brief Introduction to Music!  They will show you a brief introdction of How to Read Music.

What parts of a staff do we need to understand before we can read music?
Do musical notes and numbers work together?

Skill Building prior to:
Music Pitch: ledger lines above and below the staff; major, minor, and perfect intervals (e.g. Major 3rd, Perfect 5th)
Specfic Expectation: C1.5 Demonstrate an understanding of standard and other types of musical notation through performance and composition
